Product Types & Applications

Agricultural Covers (60–80 gsm)

Lightweight tarpaulins for covering stored grain, hay, and farm produce after harvest. Standard blue/silver — blue face reflects heat. Sizes 4×6 m and 6×8 m most common for grain storage in open-air godowns.

Construction Site Covers (120–150 gsm)

Medium-weight for covering construction materials — sand, ballast, cement, timber, roofing iron. Reinforced corners withstand repeated deployment and abrasion. Green/silver commonly specified. Standard sizes: 6×8 m and 8×10 m.

Truck and Cargo Covers (150–200 gsm)

Heavy-duty for securing cargo on flatbed trucks, trailers, and open-top containers. High-density weave and close-spaced eyelets. Custom cut to vehicle bed dimensions for bulk fleet orders.

Flood Protection and Emergency Relief

Orange or high-visibility yellow, 60–80 gsm for rapid deployment in flood response and emergency shelter. Lightweight for easy handling. Supplied to WFP, UNHCR, and Kenya Red Cross emergency programmes.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between 60 gsm and 200 gsm tarpaulins?

GSM (grams per square metre) indicates total fabric weight. A 60 gsm tarpaulin is lightweight and suitable for light agricultural and emergency uses. A 200 gsm is significantly more durable — resistant to tearing and puncture — for industrial, truck-cover, and long-term outdoor storage. For most farm and construction use, 80–120 gsm is the most common specification.

Are your tarpaulins waterproof?

Yes. All tarpaulins are laminated on both faces with LDPE film, providing full waterproofing across the face. Hems are folded and sewn, and eyelets are brass or aluminium with reinforced fabric backing. All standard tarpaulins are fully waterproof.

Can you supply custom sizes outside your standard range?

Yes. We manufacture to custom dimensions for fleet vehicle operators, large construction contractors, and industrial clients. For very large covers (e.g., 15×20 m), we can produce in panels with welded or sewn joins. MOQ for custom sizes remains 500 pieces per specification.

How long will your tarpaulins last outdoors?

Our UV-stabilised tarpaulins are rated for a minimum of 12 months of continuous outdoor exposure. In practice, 80–120 gsm tarpaulins used seasonally typically last 3–5 years. Heavy-duty 150–200 gsm grades used as permanent covers can last 4–7 years depending on UV exposure and wind stress.

Can you print or brand tarpaulins with a company logo?

Yes. Single-colour or multi-colour flexographic printing on the tarpaulin face. Common for NGO programme branding (UNHCR, WFP, government logos), corporate event covers, and construction company identification. Minimum print quantity typically 1,000 pieces.

What is the minimum order quantity?

500 pieces per size and specification. For mixed orders combining multiple sizes, a combined total of 500 pieces qualifies as one order if fabric weight and colour are consistent. Contact us regarding ex-stock availability in standard sizes for smaller quantities.
